പെരിയ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട ഫാദർ ജസ്റ്റിൻ പനക്കൽ OCD ഏപ്രിൽ 2, 2026 വ്യാഴാഴ്ച കർത്താവിൽ നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ചു. അച്ചന്റെ ഭൗതികശരീരം ഏപ്രിൽ 6, 2026 രാവിലെ 8 മണി മഞ്ഞുമ്മൽ ആശ്രമത്തിൽ പൊതുദർശനത്തിന് വച്ചതിനു ശേഷം 3:00 മണിക്ക് മൃത സംസ്കാര ശുശ്രൂഷ നടത്തപ്പെട്ടു. അച്ചനുവേണ്ടി നമുക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാം.
Dr. Rev. Fr. Justin Panakkal (10 August 1935 – 2 April 2026), affectionately known as Fr. Justin, was a devoted priest, gifted composer, and prolific theological writer who left an enduring mark on the Christian faith community of Kerala. He was widely beloved for his soul-stirring devotional songs — including “Paithalam Yesuve,” “Puthiyoru Pulari,” “Nayaka Jeevadayaka,” “Yeshuvente Prananathan,” and “Snehaswaroopa Thava Darshanam” — melodies that have woven themselves deeply into the fabric of Christian worship and tradition across Kerala. Beyond music, Fr. Justin enriched the Church through his scholarly writings, authoring several significant books on theology. His life was a beautiful offering — of melody, ministry, and faith — and his legacy continues to echo in every heart that sings his songs and every soul touched by his words.
